It's been a few months since I updated you all on what's been happening in my art journey. I know this past period has been quite a mystery, but so much has been going on that it's been hard to keep up!
Both relaxing and full of adventures, this month was filled with surprises! I saved small creatures, flew to Melbourne and found new ways to stay productive while taking breaks.
From hugging chickens to visiting cemeteries, this month has brought so many challenges. I found a cool wand and drew a little vampire!
This month has been so full of projects, changes and generosity. Here's a behind the scenes journey through my life as an artist over the past month. I try plein-air painting for the first time and talk about time management as an artist as well as dealing with lockdown changes. I hope you'll all enjoy my journey!

The second month of the new year is always one where I feel so pressured about my art. It's a time where I've got a full year behind me, looking at how much I have done and could have done, and realising how much there is yet to do. I hope to share with you a little more insight into what's been happening for me this month.
Nekka works as an artist and illustrator. She wanted to understand how much time she spent on creating art vs the additional activities to advertise and sell it. To find the right balance, she started tracking with Timeular.
I am back from hiding behind my paint palette! I must admit, I really enjoyed the extended break and being able to focus on just creating art and playing with birds and bunnies for awhile was quite refreshing.
